Nvidia to use Samsung 7nm EUV technology

During Nvidia's press conference in Seoul, Nvidia Korean President Yoo Eung-joon announced that Nvidia will cooperate with Samsung in its new GPUs. Nvidia’s next generation GPU models, Samsung’s new production technology will be used. In cooperation with Nvidia Samsung, Nvidia will produce on the Samsung 7nm EUV line.

Nvidia will continue to cooperate with Samsung
Nvidia has already used Samsung's 14 nm and 12 nm manufacturing technologies in its earlier GPU models. Then last year, giant technology companies like IBM decided to use Samsung's manufacturing technologies for processor production.

Samsung began mass production of 7nm LPP technology, based in EUV, in October last year. It is also stated that by 2020 they are trying to provide a new EUV line for customers who need new generation chip designs and high volume production.

It is now clear that Nvidia is the first company to benefit from this production line. Nvidia's video card processor to be released in 2020, Samsung’s new production line will be produced.

What does the Samsung 7nm EUV production technology offer?
This production technology makes the processor more advantageous in size and energy without sacrificing power. The use of the Samsung 7nm EUV technology, which is especially preferred in mobile devices, in hardware components such as graphics cards other than mobile devices will bring great advantages.

In particular, the production technology that will enable the graphics cards to run cooler, causing problems such as overheating, will also reduce the energy consumed by the graphics cards and improve their performance. This will make video graphics, 3D design work and game lovers quite happy.
