As the phones develop, the battery life becomes insufficient. While technology brands have been working on new generation battery technology for years, a new era has started with wireless charging.
But a new technology will bring a whole new dimension to wireless charging technology. The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved Ossia's wireless radio charging technology. This technology, unlike today's wireless charging format, allows the device to charge anywhere without the need for any pads or accessories.
The new battery technology, which uses energy from radio waves instead of a physical pad, makes 'airborne' charging possible. In this way, many tiny electronic devices, especially your phone without touching any charging point, maybe even in your pocket, will be able to charge.
Ossia's wireless charging technology can power through 2.4 GHz radio frequencies used by Wi-Fi networks.
